The Kentucky Psychological Foundation's
Community Mental Health Project
The Community Mental Health Project was formed in early 2023 and is KPF's most recent program addition. We are working hard to have an official launch date in the near future. This program works to mitigate the impact of systemic racism on the mental health of Black and Brown residents in Kentucky. By providing culturally informed training and ongoing consultation to licensed mental health professionals, access to no-cost psychotherapy for residents, and opportunities for community building and engagement this project seeks to build trust between providers and marginalized communities and strengthen the health and well-being of all We are in the process of fundraising for this initiative and hope to have an official launch date soon!
